"Steer clear of this fraudulent site!"
THIS IS A SCAM AD ON FACEBOOK. AVOID PURCHASING FROM THIS PLACE. I can't tell if the product or the customer service is worse. After six years, my white linen sheets from Au Lit in Toronto are still in great condition and super soft, but they’ve lost their bright whiteness. It was time for a refresh. I decided to give this place a shot based on all the glowing reviews, but the more I look into it, the more it seems like the honest feedback has been wiped from the sites that allow it.
What I got was a bunch of flimsy, see-through "linen" that showed up without any packaging, just tied up with some string, which is pretty gross, especially with everything going on in the world right now. Plus, they offer a "sleep trial"... yikes.
I tried to return them immediately, but they shot me down because they had marked down every item by $20 for just two days. Apparently, I was supposed to catch that in the fine print of the FAQ, which deemed this so-called "sale" as final.
The colors are nothing like the pictures, and they don’t even match each other in the set. Honestly, they’re ugly, and I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on them. You’d be better off getting bedding from Wish.com than from these unscrupulous scammers. At least with Wish, you can be fairly certain your sheets aren’t dirty.
